High Tide was established as a professional crew management company serving India's commercial maritime sector. With a documented fleet of 12 vessels spanning cargo vessels, bulk carriers, oil tankers and passenger vessels, the company built its operational core — crew recruitment, placement, documentation and full crew management — from the ground up.
2006 - 2010
Rapid Expansion Across International Shipping

A period of transformative and rapid growth. High Tide significantly expanded its crew management portfolio across international shipping, serving principals across the Middle East, Europe, Asia and the Indian Subcontinent. The managed fleet grew to over 75 vessels spanning ten categories — oil tankers, bulk carriers, chemical tankers, VLCCs, container vessels, bitumen tankers, dredgers and early offshore support vessels. In December 2009, High Tide managed two cargo vessels through Somali piracy waters with armed guards onboard — among the first Indian crew managers to operationalise this.

A deliberate and disciplined transition period. High Tide progressively phased out its main-fleet and merchant crew management portfolio while simultaneously building its offshore expertise. Offshore support vessels, crew boats, AHTS and dredgers formed the growing core of the new portfolio direction. High Tide ventured into Ownership, built and managed 2 vessels, Sea Tide & White Pearl I.

The managed fleet grew steadily, covering DP2 and Non-DP AHTS, FSIV, PSV, crew boats, fast crew boats, ASD tugs, harbour tugs and utility workboats — all serving contractors across major regional energy projects like ARAMCO & ADNOC. Offshore crew management became the company's singular and defining specialisation.

High Tide's offshore crew management operations scaled rapidly and substantially. The managed fleet grew to more than 120 offshore vessels across ten vessel categories — AHTS, FSIV, DSV, crew boats and fast crew boats, ASD tugs, harbour tugs, multicats, utility workboats, self-propelled jack-up barges and accommodation barges. A growing team of over 1,600 seafarers was placed, managed and supported onboard vessels across active offshore energy projects.

Changed our name from High Tide to now High Tiide Ship Management Private Limited. We currently manages the crew of more than 160 offshore vessels — spanning the full spectrum of offshore support vessel types — with many additional vessels in the pipeline. In addition, the company now provides full ship management for a Mini Bulk Carrier, marking its expansion into complete vessel management. With 2,200+ seafarers placed and actively managed onboard, and over 25 years of unbroken maritime experience, High Tiide stands as a focused and proven offshore crew management specialist.
